Keeping with my love of nature.. I could not
pass up the opportunity to create this
elegant swan. She is painted in a gradation
from bottom to top of icy blue into delicate
ivory. Wanting to keep her as authentic as
possible, I hand-made the crepe garland
rather than using store-bought. She is
swimming in a sea of iridescence. As with all
of my subjects, I thoroughly researched the
swan, as to correctly paint her detail.
